Stashfin Credit Line Card: How It Works, Fees, Eligibility, and What to Check Before Applying

If you searched for a “Stashfin credit card”, first establish what the offer actually provides. Stashfin uses the term Credit Line Card in its official content, while its current homepage promotes credit limits and personal loans. Those descriptions should not automatically be treated as a conventional credit card offer.12

The important questions are who lends the money, how you access it, when repayment starts and what the complete borrowing cost will be.

Public information reviewed on 26 October 2026. Your personalised offer and contractual documents may contain different product-specific conditions.

What is the product?

Stashfin’s August 2025 Credit Line Card article describes an approved credit limit, interest on utilised funds and repayment through instalments. It also refers to Visa-enabled merchant payments and ATM access.2

However, that article alone does not establish whether an identical card is currently available to every new applicant. Before applying, confirm whether you are being offered:

  • A credit facility with an associated payment card
  • A loan disbursed to your bank account
  • Another product with its own repayment and usage rules

Ask whether repaying a withdrawal restores your available limit. Do not assume the facility is revolving, that every purchase receives an interest-free period or that ATM withdrawals carry the same conditions as purchases.

Stashfin’s website identifies the application as a digital lending application of Akara Capital Advisors Private Limited and other lending partners, with EQX Analytics Private Limited associated with the Stashfin application trademark.1 Check the actual lender named in your Key Facts Statement, or KFS, and loan agreement rather than relying only on the app’s branding.

Published interest and charges

The current homepage provides the following personal-loan disclosures. These are not a verified universal tariff for every Credit Line Card offer.1

Cost or conditionHomepage disclosure
Promotional interest0% for up to 30 days, subject to the offer
Interest after that periodPublished range of 0%–39%
Annual percentage rate, or APR10%–45%
Platform fee2.85%, plus 18% GST on the fee
Transaction fee3%, plus 18% GST on the fee
Loan tenure3–48 months
Foreclosure/prepayment chargeNil

Treat Stashfin loan interest rates and APR as separate comparison fields. Request the annual interest rate, calculation method, APR and complete repayment schedule together rather than comparing only the advertised interest figure.

An interest-free promotion does not necessarily mean cost-free borrowing: the same homepage separately lists platform and transaction fees.1 Ask when those fees apply, what amount they are calculated on, and whether they are deducted from disbursement or added to the repayment obligation.

The older Credit Line Card article quotes rates starting at 11.99% and a 3–36-month tenure, which differ from the homepage disclosures.2 Do not combine those figures into a single guaranteed offer.

Eligibility and documents

The reviewed public pages do not establish one reliable, universal minimum age, salary or credit-score threshold for every current Stashfin product. Avoid treating an eligibility figure from an aggregator or older promotional article as a confirmed requirement.

Before sharing documents, check the product-specific criteria for:

  • Age, residency and serviceable location
  • Employment or income eligibility
  • Credit assessment and existing repayment obligations
  • Identity, address and bank-account verification
  • Any additional documents requested by the named lender

Ask whether an initial eligibility check involves a credit-bureau enquiry and whether proceeding to a formal application changes that process.

Stashfin advertises personal loans up to ₹5 lakh, but that is a published product ceiling—not an approved amount for every borrower.1 Neither meeting a basic criterion nor receiving a marketing message guarantees approval.

How to apply carefully

Start through Stashfin’s official website and follow its authorised application route. Its homepage links the service to the Stashfin app and provides customer-support details.1

Before accepting an offer:

  1. Identify the facility. Confirm whether the application is for a loan, credit line or card-linked facility.
  2. Read the KFS and agreement. Check the lender, sanctioned amount, net amount received, APR, instalments and total repayment.
  3. Check access conditions. Confirm whether card issuance, merchant payments, bank transfers or cash withdrawals are actually included.
  4. Review optional additions. Ask whether insurance, memberships or other services are optional and how they affect the cost.
  5. Save the documents. Keep the accepted offer, repayment schedule and relevant communications.

Do not accept an agreement merely because an app describes the process as quick or paperless. Approval and disbursement timing should be confirmed for your application.

Questions about card charges

When investigating Stashfin credit line card charges, request a product-specific schedule covering issuance, renewal, replacement, ATM use, transactions, late payment and failed repayments. The personal-loan table above does not establish those card-specific amounts.

Also check the exact conditions attached to early repayment. The current homepage states nil foreclosure/prepayment charges, while the older card article refers to repayment after the first three EMIs.12 Confirm whether a waiting period, minimum instalment requirement or another restriction applies to your facility.

For an interest-free offer, ask when the period begins, which transactions qualify and what happens if repayment is incomplete.

What to compare before borrowing

Compare offers using the same amount received and repayment period. Review the EMI, total rupee repayment, upfront deductions and charges that arise if a payment fails—not just the advertised limit.

For debt consolidation, check whether the new borrowing genuinely reduces the combined cost after fees. Stashfin promotes this use in its card article, but savings depend on the actual old and new obligations, not the marketing description.2

If the EMI leaves too little for rent, essentials or existing debt, reconsider the amount or timing. A higher available limit is not a reason to borrow more.
